The Colorpoint Shorthair was bred to be similar to the Siamese cat, but with different colors. The Colorpoint Shorthair’s colors are quite unique, with the color variations of this breed being as follows:
Red Point - This cat’s body is pure white, with any shading being the same tone as the cat’s points. Their points vary from bring bright yellowy-orange in color to deep reds. Their nose is the color of leather, and their paw pads are a fleshy pink color.
Cream Point - This cat’s body is pure white, with any shading being the same tone as the cat’s points. Their points vary from being a pale cream color to a light pink color. Their nose is the color of leather, and their paw pads are a fleshy pink color.
Seal Lynx Point - This cat’s body is a cream or pale yellow-brown color, with its shading being a lighter color on the stomach and chest. Their points are seal-brown, very distinct, and divided by a lighter background color. Their ears are seal-brown, with a pale print in the center. Their nose is the color of leather, or seal brown in some cases, and their paw pads are seal brown.
Chocolate Lynx Point - This cat’s body is an off white color, and its points are a warm chocolate color, which are very distinctly divided by a lighter background color. Their ears are also a warm chocolate, with a pale print in the center.
Blue Lynx Point - This cat’s body can be either pure white or gray, with the shading being much lighter on its stomach and chest. Its points are a deep blue/gray, very distinct, and divided by a lighter background color. Its ears are a deep blue-gray, with a pale print in center. Its nose is usually the color of leather, but can sometimes be a dark blue/gray.
Cream Lynx Point - This cat’s body is pure white, with its points being a pale cream to a light pink. Its colors are very distinct, and divided by a lighter background color. Its ears are a pale cream to light pink color, with a pale print in center. Its nose is the color of leather, and its paw pads are a fleshy-pink.
Lilac Lynx Point - This cat’s body is pure white, and its points are gray with pink tones. Its colors are very distinct, and divided by a lighter background color. Its ears are gray with pink tones, with a pale print in the center. Its nose is usually the color of leather, but can sometimes be a lavender/pink. Its paw pads are lavender/pink.
Red Lynx Point - This cat’s body is pure white, and its points are a deep red, which are distinctly divided by the lighter background color. Its ears are a deep red, with a pale print in the center. Its nose is the color of leather, and its paw pads are a fleshy-pink.
